Rev. Thomas Lane is the President of the Buddhist Council of the Midwest. He is ordained in the Chan lineage, which is Chinese Zen. Rev. Lane was a professor of English for eight years in China, spent time in Ohio and Mexico as a field archaeologist, and holds five academic degrees in the social sciences.
