Panel Discussion: “Celebrating Women as Community Builders”

Niagara Foundation organized a panel discussion “Celebrating Women as
Community Builders” in commemoration of Women’s History Month.
In this panel, our panelists shared their opinions with us on the role of the women as community
builders, discuss the contributions of the women to society in different fields and talk about the
challenges that they encounter. They also shared their views on how to make women realize their full
potential and encourage them to fulfill this potential.

Sheri L. Jones, WLNS -TV 6 News Anchor
Dr. Elizabeth Simmons, Dean of the Lyman Briggs College, MSU
Paulette Granberry Russell, the Senior Advisor for Diversity to the President of Michigan State University and Director of the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives.
PS: There will be a 30 minute reception prior to the speeches.
