Last January, our members visited federal representatives of Wisconsin in Washington DC. On behalf of the Turkish community living in Wisconsin, we congratulated Congressman Tom Petri, Congressman Ron Kind, and Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin for their re-elections. During the visit, we introduced our institution and informed them about our events and activities. We also spoke regarding Turkish-American relationships, Turkish history, and the interests of the Turkish community living in Wisconsin. In addition to these, we discussed the potential contributions of the Turkish community to the society in general.
