Dan Bradley has 40 years experience in local television news working for network affiliated stations in Toledo, Dayton and Columbus, Ohio and Tampa, Florida. he worked in the field as a photojournalist and inside the newsroom as an assignment editor, managing editor and news director. He was the Vice President of News for the Media General Broadcast Group from September 2000 through July, 2009. In that capacity he developed operational guidelines for our large and small market news operations, developed market research and assisted in creating strategic plans that leverage the knowledge research provided our local management teams. He was instrumental in working on his company’s convergence, or multimedia strategies. He also worked as a primary trainer for many aspects of the television news business. He became the President, General Manager of Meida General’s WCMH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbus, OH in July of 2009. Additionally, he was also the Market Leader for MG’s OH/RI market with oversight responsibilities for the company’s NBC affiliate in Providence, RI, WJAR from July, 09 through July 2012. He retired from Media General on December 31, 2015 and is living in Sarasota, FL.
