Our thoughts are with the religious institutions affected by the vandalism on the North Side of Chicago over the past couple weeks. Niagara stands in solidarity with our dear friends, the Islamic Foundation North and the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, among the others affected.
We at Niagara wish to emphasize the need for interreligious education and dialogue during this difficult time for the North suburbs of Chicago. It is with a small hope that we know this act of hate will, instead of marginalizing those religious communities affected, bring them closer in their shared resiliency.
