The annual trips organized by NF serve the Foundation’s mission to create a greater understanding about Turkish society and culture. They also serve to enhance social, economic and cultural ties between the United States and Turkey through citizen diplomacy. Our guests for these trips are selected from among influential leaders in the Greater St. Louis area, representing the arts, media, government, academia, religious organizations and the business community. In the last 5 years, more than 100 Missourians had this unique opportunity. In 2012, almost 500 people from Midwest visited Turkey through Niagara Foundation.
