Stacy Ratner is a social entrepreneur dedicated to the cause of literacy in Chicago. In total, her three current ventures (Open Books, the Chicago Literacy Alliance, and Hooray Learning) have directly served more than 26,000 students, 80 organizations, and 1,000 educators, all fueled by millions of used books and an unswerving belief in the power of reading and writing.
