Today is World Sight Day

This year, October 8, 2015 is World Sight Day giving opportunity of communication to the eye health community. World Sight Day is observed on the second Thursday of October . This is the time to engage people who rarely get eye exams and spread the word about the importance of attention to the need of eye health check.

This year’s theme of the day will focus on everybody who need eye care, especially those who are most in need and most vulnerable. This is the time for everyone to think how can those people be treated or reached? and how to ensure that people in need are not left out and they all get equal opportunity to have their eye care.
