Dr. Senad Agic is the American Islamic Center Imam and author and editor of several books, interviews on the Qur’an, Religion and Violance in Bosnia and September 11 and Struggle for the Soul of Islam. Imam Agic discussed peace and conflict within and among religions on “National Public Radio,” “Voice of America”, “Radio Free Europe” and “Islam Radio” (Chicago’s First Daily Muslim Talk Show).

Imam Agic is founder and former Head Imam of Islamic Community of North-American Bosnians, member of the Executive Committee of The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC), former President of Northbrook Clergy Association and former professor of Islamic Studies at GTF and Cloverdale College.

His current interests focus on traditional moderate Islam which shuns extremism and religious animosity in favor of coexistence, mutual respect and cooperation.
