It is with deep sadness that we at the Niagara Foundation express our condolences for those affected by the tornadoes in the Midwest on Sunday, November 17th, 2013. The destruction of our southern neighbor of Washington, Illinois, in particular struck close to home for us. We send our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the storms.
It is during difficult times like these when the love and famous hospitality of the Midwest is at its strongest. Washington and other towns affected by the tornadoes will rebound. Friends, neighbors and strangers alike will help them along. Niagara Foundation believes this community support and engagement is the key not only to weathering storms, but is also the key to promoting a more peaceful world.
