Event Highlights
You are cordially invited to the screening of a documentary called Love is a Verb hosted by Fourth Presbyterian Church. Love is a Verb is an examination of the work of Fethullah Gulen, a Muslim scholar and humanitarian, and the global movement that he inspired called Hizmet, the Turkish word for service. This movement is active in various areas from education and interreligious dialogue to humanitarian aid in over 165 countries around the world.
The writer, director, and producer of the documentary, Terry Spencer, will join us for a Q&A session. Dr. Martin Marty’s reflections and a book signing of his most recent book, “Hizmet Means Service” will follow the session.
