Due to the religiously significant Month of Ramadan, this Niagara Forum will convene for a special event and will adjourn with an iftar dinner.

If you buy a table, please note that in the spirit of dialogue and interfaith encounter we like to mix-up the seating unless otherwise noted not to. If you do not have names at this time–no problem. We ask that you provide the names within 72 hrs of the event.
Join us, as we gather as one Chicago community, to share in something sacred, and to demonstrate how love of neighbor and hospitality grant us the ability to mutually support one another.

Inam’ul Haq, Professor at Elmhurst College
Professor Inamul Haq teaches in the Religious Studies Department at Elmhurst College and at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. His area of expertise is Islamic Studies. Previously he has been principal of two Islamic day schools in Chicago. Mr. Haq is founding member of the International Strategy and Policy Institute, an Oak Brook-based think tank. He served on the Chicago Committee of Human Rights Watch and on the Board of the Cardinal Bernadine Center of Catholic Theological Union. Mr. Haq is also a honorary Imam in Chicago. He has been frequently interviewed by local media, including the Chicago Tribune and PBS regarding issues covering Islam and Muslims. Professor Haq studied at International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan, and at Drew University in New Jersey.
